Rochester International Jazz Festival

The Rochester International Jazz Festival was founded in 2002 and has become one of the nation's fastest growing music festivals. The fifth edition, June 9-17, will feature more than 600 musicians performing in 170 concerts. Artists will come from ten countries and the U.S. making it one of the top international events in the U.S. as well as one of the most eclectic presenting all forms of improvised creative music  DETAILS

Haiti's New President Urges People To Make Peace Through Dialogue

Mr. Preval made the appeal Sunday in his inaugural address to thousands of supporters outside the presidential palace in the capital, Port-au-Prince. He said the solutions to the country's problems are in Haitians' own hands.
