Compton Is Back In Power In St Lucia

Compton, who is 81 and whose age was an issue in the campaign, has pledged to work hard and honestly to rebuild the country. He said rising crime, one of the main campaign issues in the elections, would be one of his priorities. "We are going to tell the criminals that there is no place for their activities." Guatemala Gears Up For Crucial ACS Ministerial Council Meeting

Development concerning the Caribbean Sea Initiative is another issue of central importance to the ACS Ministerial Organ. The Caribbean Sea Commission, which was installed in September, will be intervening in the Council Meeting to highlight the efforts being undertaken for the protection, preservation and sustainable utilisation of the resources of the Caribbean Sea.
