In explaining the motivation for initiating this noble gesture, Perry cites the kindness of an un-named donor who provided him with a scholarship to complete his high school education at a private school in New York. Jamaica's Malaria Fight Boosted By $58 Million

Information and Development Minister, Donald Buchanan made the announcement at the weekly post-Cabinet press briefing at Jamaica House.
